UFC 309 saw the come back of a very familiar face to the MMA scene, Jon Jones. In the highly anticipated bout, Jon Jones defeated Stipe Miocic via TKO in the third round with a monstrous spinning back kick to the ribs.
UFC 309 also had some other very prominent fighters including popular fighters such as Charles Oliveira and Michael Chandler. Their fight ended with a decision going to Oliveira, which in my opinion was a very dominant fight over Chandler.
In the bout between highly prospected Bo Nickal and Paul Craig, Bo won via decision. In a very lackluster kind of performance from lots of fans, Bo got the victory from out-striking his opponent. I think this shows Bo’s maturity, although it wasn’t the crazy faced pace fight that people wanted to see, Bo’s striking was very educated considering how long he has been striking.
I will edit this in the future for the last two bouts, I just wanted to have an example.
